Composer and drummer Victor Lewis spends little time at home because of high demand for his talents. In addition to leading his stellar group, composed of prominent players on the New York City scene, Victor presently provides the rhythmic impetus to the bands of Ann Hampton Callaway and Kenny Barron and continues as co-leader, with Bobby Watson, of the Horizon Quintet. His discography includes numerous recordings as leader and with additional jazz icons such as Herbie Mann, Art Farmer, Chet Baker, J.J. Johnson, Carmen Lundy, Clark Terry, Grover Washington, Jr., and many, many more.
