Julian Lage September 7 piano & guitar duo Mega-talents Julian Lage and Taylor Eigsti have barely forty years on the planet between them. Two-time Grammy Nominee Taylor Eigsti, 22-year-old pianist/composer/bandleader, has been on the jazz scene since he was a pre-teen. His debut on Concord Records, LUCKY TO BE ME, has afforded him the full-fledged exposure he deserves.Tapped by instructor Gary Burton to join and record with his band while a student at Berklee School of Music, Julian has developed a distinctive stylistic depth that belies his youth. These two jazz giants in-the-making take duo performance to heights not seen since the days of Bill Evans and Jim Hall.
